Wonderful, Sharon! We normally get snow up here in northern NY and today it's nearly 60; this is our April fools because it's a sucker-punch...tomorrow it'll probably be -30. lol

I love that Ted of yours...what a great line. I appreciate the encouragement and take it personally.

Hope it's OK this bald, crazy white guy is posting on a chick.com site!

I love this, Sharron! And by the way, I'm also loving Symphony of Secrets. Keep doing foolish things for God!

Love, Jeanette

From a fellow writer to another! :)

I am in the process of researching for a book I would like to write that addresses ten struggles that Christian women face. I would love to have your input as well.

Thank you for any help you can give me. All I need is the list of ten things as well as your age. Thank you!

Jill Elizabeth Nelson

Great thought, Sharon, and so true. It's those faith steps, the things that look impossible, that bring the greatest rewards. BTW, I posted photos of our April Fool's weather on my Shoutlife profile today. I was also thinking what a joke the weather had played on us!

Shane Deal

Well us crazy NY gentlemen must hang together. If we're going to be crazy and post on "chick" blogs.

Great post Sharon!

Beautiful verse...to go with the beautiful weather we got here in Idaho today. Neiner, neiner.

Dear Sweet Sharon,

One of my favorite things about God is that He chooses the foolish to shame the wise. He lifts us up out of our ash heaps and gives us a place at His table.

I LOVE that He's called you to write because you are a beautiful and brilliant woman of God.

Oh, and just for fun, I have to share what my son and his girlfriend did for April Fools Day. Prom is in a couple of weeks and Jordan's girlfriend has a special hair appointment scheduled. Jordan managed to talk the salon into calling Angie to let her know her appointment has been cancelled and could not be rescheduled until May. Hmmm. In return, Angie (during the school day) took Jordan's truck from the school parking lot and parked it in our garage. She filled his truck with balloons and covered it with post it notes. She tee-peed his bedroom, set his alarm clock for 3:00 am, and saran wrapped his toilet seat. Ahh, young love. :)

Christopher, you're an honorary "chick" - and the faith part you have down cold. :-)

Jeanette, I'm so tickled you're enjoying Symphony of Secrets - it was such a fun book to write

Jodie, I hope lots of visitors to this site will contact you and share their thoughts!

Jill, I'm thinking we are way past due for some Spring here in MN. :-)

Shane, the faithchicks are honored by the guys who stop by

Angela, that's just plain mean. :-)
But finally today (Friday) the snow is melting, so soon I'll be able to "neiner neiner" too.

Susie, life around your house is SO entertaining!!!!

Thanks everyone, for stopping by and for your comments!

Hi, Sharon,

I, too, am so ready for SPRING to come... but I love your April Fool's writing reminding us of I Cor. 1:25...

I can't wait for the tulips and crocuses, having endured the frozen ground of winter, to fight their way through the hard, cold earth and unfurl their brilliant colors as a shout of praise to their maker...

Seems there must be a good analogy to our Christian life there....

Thanks again for your perspective on April Fool's Day!
