My sistahs,Although we are seeking a publisher for this project, I do feel that many of you have stories that need to be told RIGHT NOW. Also, only so many stories will be selected for the volume. I'd like to invite each of you to share a story, journal entry, poem or thought on our blog. If you wrote more than one piece but only submitted one, that'd be good too.
If you don't have a piece that goes under the "Believing Beyond Shame" volume, I'd like to hear stories about your friends, your "sistahs" in Christ who brought you over, under, around and through. The women who heard your stories and told you theirs. The coverers, the comforters, the correctors, the connectors, the compassionate, the church folk... alla that. So what say you? You in? I hope so. :)
Oh and if you're raising black children (or any children for that matter) and you're looking for a good blog to read, check out www.beingmamadaily.blogspot.com. It's not Christian per se, but it's uplifting and it's good to hear mama stories being told.
