Coveting...

 I am coveting. Seriously.  Apple traffic is the bane of my existence.  (I live in Cupertino.)  So I think, because I must deal with their Prius infestation, as well as geeks on Segways during their lunch hours, Apple should reward me with a new iMac.  I'm a good customer.  I have an iMac from 2006 and a MacAir.  I don't have an iPhone because I don't have any electricity in my hands, and can't work them.  But still...I covet. 

As I've gotten older, I covet less.  I'm content with less and feel generally satisfied with all God's given me to care for in this lifetime.  But see, I could justify that too because a faster computer would make me more effective and then I could spend more time with my family.  Right?  Okay, maybe I'd just surf the London Daily Mail faster.  Let's be honest.  

I'm such a guy this way.  I covet computers and cars.  And truly, I'd rather be in Fry's than Nordstrom's.  We have a small house with four kids and a dog, in a place where so many have multi-million dolI'm content, but I am not completely immune.  What do you covet?

this hit a cord with me. I have been struggling with contentment lately..wanting wanting wanting, when I need nothing. i could be that we are in a get out of debt plan in our house...it's just like dieting I never really crave donuts until I cant have one because I am cutting the calories.
So I guess to answer your question...I'm coveting lotsa stuff..cloths and pedicures and facials, new shoes and week end getaways...oh I would like a pool too!
